About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available for a motivated dietitian with varied postgraduate clinical experience and a strong interest in paediatric dietetics.

The successful candidate will be based primarily at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, working alongside the paediatric team across the Trust. Cross-site working may also be required when necessary.

Main Responsibilities
  • To work as part of the paediatric dietetic team to provide a highly specialised nutrition and dietetic service to the child health business unit.
  • To contribute towards service developments through audit and patient surveys.
  • To manage and prioritise a delegated caseload.
  • To advise medical and nursing staff on the appropriate use of prescribable specialist food products and formulas.
  • To maintain continued professional development.
Requirements
  • BSc Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a dietitian.
  • Broad range of clinical dietetic experience including some in paediatrics.
Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £42,500 - £62,000 per annum.
