We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work in an evolving district nursing service, providing high-quality care to patients with diverse medical conditions in the community setting.



Main Duties of the Job


  • Undertake complex nursing assessments and develop programs of care for patients and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with health and social care colleagues to promote excellent care to patients in their own homes and community setting.
  • Support and lead development in lower bands and students in the placement area.


Requirements


  • Level 1 registered nursing qualifications.
  • Recent nursing experience, including wound care experience and broad knowledge base of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Evidence of clinical/professional development.


About Us

We operate from three main hospitals, including Furness General Hospital and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, as well as community healthcare premises. Our services include General Hospital services, Emergency Departments, and planned care.
