Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Project Coordinator to join our team at Stirling Medical & Scientific Ltd. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing procurement activities related to electrical and mechanical elements.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement or buying roles, preferably within a project-based environment. Strong negotiation skills, effective supplier relationships, and good understanding of project management processes are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services required for project delivery, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring service levels are always maintained and delivery schedules are adhered to in order to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor project procurement budgets, track costs, and ensure that purchases align with project financial targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications in line with company policies and project requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement or buying role, preferably within a project-based environment (construction, engineering, manufacturing).
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective supplier relationships.
  • Good understanding of project management processes and timelines.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
