We are seeking a MRICS qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Build Recruitment. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary consultancy, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of various housing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing the financial and contractual aspects of various housing projects
  2. Leading cost management, budgeting, and forecasting across the project lifecycle
  3. Preparing tenders, contract documentation, and managing procurement processes
  4. Delivering detailed valuations, cost reports, and final accounts
  5. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  6. Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth and development

Requirements:

  1. MRICS qualification is essential
  2. Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the housing sector
  3. Strong commercial acumen and expertise in managing costs and contracts
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
