Academics Ltd is a reputable institution that provides educational services to students with SEMH needs. We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support staff member to join our team in January 2025.

The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to work with and make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people who display challenging behaviours.

This long-term, full-time position involves managing student behaviour and supporting them with social and emotional difficulties and mental health challenges.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support students with SEMH difficulties
  • To work alongside the Class Teacher and Supporting staff

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant or Mental Health experience
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour

Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
