Senior Care Coordinator

St Philips Care Group is seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their Residential Care Home team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop a team of care workers, providing high-quality care to residents.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a team of care workers, ensuring the highest standards of care are met. They will work closely with the management team to promote person-centered care and maximize independence for residents.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of care workers to provide exceptional care to residents.
- Coordinate care planning processes, maintaining accurate records and medication administration.
- Ensure residents' rights and confidentiality are respected at all times.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition, highlighting potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Attend in-service training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
- Previous experience as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home environment.
- A passion for caring for the elderly.
- Experience with medication administration.
