Lead a Team of Care Professionals

We are seeking a skilled Senior Care Assistant to lead and develop a team of care workers at our Roxholm Hall Care Centre, part of St Philips Care Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an environment that respects residents' rights and wishes, while promoting person-centred care and independence.

Job Summary

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to take on a leadership role within our care team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assessing and providing care requirements for residents, understanding the effects on their health and well-being.

You will assist residents with daily care needs, promoting independence and optimising quality of life. This includes caring for all residents' needs as required, maintaining confidentiality and upholding residents' rights.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Care Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement care plans, ensuring effective medication management and delivery.
  • Safety and Well-being: Maintain a safe and healthy environment, reporting hazards and unsafe equipment to the Manager.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of care workers, promoting person-centred care and independence.
Requirements and Desirable Qualifications
  • NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
  • Previous experience as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home.
  • Passion for caring for the elderly.
  • Experience in medication administration.

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
