Job Title: Mental Health Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join our Exeter and East Social Care Community Mental Health Team. As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality and equitable service to individuals with mental health conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering a social care pathway in line with the requirements of the Care Act 2014, working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary sector organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering a social care pathway in line with the requirements of the Care Act 2014
  • Working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary sector organisations
  • Providing a personalised and person-centred approach to assessment, support planning, safeguarding, and review
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with service users, carers, and other professionals
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
About You

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Social Worker who is registered to practice with Social Work England. You will have a comprehensive working knowledge of the issues currently impacting on social care delivery and be up-to-date with policy and practice development. You will also have a current full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
