Support Worker for Mental Health

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential support and care to patients with mental health conditions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in mental health care. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant and hold a relevant qualification, such as the Care Certificate or a QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions, assisting in the delivery of patient care, and ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and care. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to patient care on a flexible schedule, which will enable you to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal commitments.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £12.08-£22.10 per hour, depending on experience. We also provide a range of benefits, including weekly pay, Blue Light Card NHS Discount Provider, and first choice of shifts/placements at the Trust of your choice over agencies.
