This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in Mental Health/Care roles looking to transition into Education. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the academic and personal development of students.

About the Role
  • You must have a UK driving license and own a car.
  • The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.

As a Mental Health Support Worker, your key responsibilities include:

  1. Guiding students in a supportive environment.
  2. Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop support plans.
  3. Fostering a nurturing atmosphere that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
  4. Assisting with daily tasks, academic activities, and implementing interventions to address behavior.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Mental Health Support Worker is advantageous.
  • You must be DBS registered or willing to apply through GSL Education.
