Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Hexagon Care Services. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our 2-bedded SEMH children's home in Mirfield, Kirklees.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support and care to young people aged 11-17, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the on-site Hexagon Psychologist and other professionals to develop and implement therapeutic plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care, while promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Engage in activities and games with young people, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as part of a rolling rota.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence for the role.
  • Desirable: QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People's Workforce (Hexagon will pay for the new Level 4 Diploma if required).
