Job Title: Residential Support Worker (Children's Home)

Hours: 40.5 hours per week plus sleep ins

Total Shifts per Month: 11

Salary: starting from £24,850 (no experience/qualification) up to £28,475 (experienced/qualified)

Sleep Ins: £45 per night (min 10 per month)

Shift Pattern: 2 shifts on 4 shifts off with a sleep in on every shift

Earnings: £30,025 to £33,650

Hexagon Care Services have a 2 bedded SEMH children's home in Mirfield, Kirklees. This home supports 2 young people aged 11-17, following a therapeutic model of care with support from an on-site Hexagon Psychologist. Our children's home is Ofsted rated Good in all areas.

About the Role

We are seeking a candidate with an interest in a therapeutic and holistic approach to working with children in care. Previous experience of working in any children's home is advantageous but not essential as full training and induction is provided. You will need a full UK driving licence for this position to drive the work vehicle.

Please note if you're new to this sector, these roles are caring 24/7 for children so evenings, weekends, public holidays are essential and shared amongst the staff team. The 2 shift on 4 shifts off basis is a rolling rota, and will mean you are away from home 48 hours at a time.
