Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recreational Assistant to join our team at the Royal Automobile Club in Epsom, Surrey.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week over 5 days - Monday to Sunday.
  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Walled Garden poolside and activity areas, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our members and guests.
  • You will take personal responsibility for all standards of service across the Walled Garden, including lifeguarding, poolside health and safety procedures, inventory management, and maintenance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of attention to detail, and flexibility/adaptability.
  • Deliver a friendly, professional service to all members and guests.
  • Manage the poolside area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Valid full UK driving license.
  • NPLQ qualification preferred, but willing to provide training if required.
  • First aid training not needed, but happy to undertake training.
  • Able to work shifts and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail.
