Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant/GP Out Of Hours Driver to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, and treatment centers.
- Provide high-quality patient care and support during transportation.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Complete accurate and timely patient journey records and statistical information.
Requirements
- Committed to providing exceptional patient care and support.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Valid driver's license with no more than six penalty points.
- Physical fitness for patient handling and moving.
