**Job Title:** Ambulance Care Assistant/GP Out Of Hours Driver

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant/GP Out Of Hours Driver to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport service, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation to patients, while also working as a GP Out Of Hours Driver when required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Work as a GP Out Of Hours Driver, providing medical transportation services
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation
  • Maintain a high standard of vehicle and equipment serviceability
  • Complete statistical information and patient journey records

**Requirements:**

  • Committed to patient care and safety
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm and considerate driving skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing situations
  • Familiarity with the local area and surrounding roads
