About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team on Ward, a 33-bedded medical ward with specialties in gastroenterology and cardiology. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our registered nurses in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support patients with personal care, nutrition, and fluid management
  • Report to and support the registered nurse
  • Ensure the environment is kept clean and tidy
  • Follow infection prevention guidance

About Our Team

We operate from three main hospitals, providing a range of General Hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and various Consultant-led services. Our community services for adults are provided in people's homes, community centers, clinics, GP Practices, community hospitals, and our main hospitals.

Requirements

  • Worked in a care setting
  • Experience with manual handling of patients

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of NHS care certificate or equivalent relevant experience to level 3
  • IT qualification
