Main Job Functions:

As a key member of the AM Recruitment team, you will be responsible for processing and shipping parts requirements for Service activities. You will also assist the Logistics Operative with general goods in, goods out and stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing and despatch of sales and service orders in a timely manner and in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
  • Receipt, booking in, inspection and storage of components in a timely manner and in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
  • Loading and unloading goods vehicles, and moving stock around the site in a safe and efficient way.
  • Liaison with transport companies/couriers.
  • Raising, issuing and completing Works Orders using company ERP system, in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
  • Undertaking checks and inspections on tools, machinery, PPE and other items as required.
  • Advising Procurement Officer of any shortages and Operations Manager of any issues that could cause delays.
  • Maintaining good communication in a co-operative and professional manner at all levels and with all departments within the company.
  • Understanding of the quality procedures relating to the position, including following all work procedures and work instructions.
  • Raising inaccuracies with procedures, and suggesting possible solutions where known.
  • Striving to improve quality and performance.
  • Keeping the work area clean and tidy.

Requirements:

You will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain procedures, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be able to maintain accurate records and reports.
