Job Summary:

Maintain a high level of professionalism and collaboration in delivering employee services throughout the employment lifecycle. Oversee daily department operations, provide guidance on policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with government programs. Proactively identify areas of concern and provide solutions to enhance current systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the employee lifecycle by delivering HR services, including job description reviews, salary range recommendations, and HR policy updates. Collaborate with HR leadership on employee relations matters and maintain HR systems with employee changes. Assist in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures. Provide generalist support and backup for payroll and onboarding processes.

Research and Implementation:

Streamline the employee documentation life cycle by maintaining and creating efficiencies. Research and recommend improvements for system integrations and reducing manual HR forms and documentation. Generate monthly reports and support OKR achievements and change management initiatives.

Regulatory and Compliance Programs:

Maintain legal awareness and monitor employment, benefits, and health and safety regulatory requirements and compliance programs. Generate reports and submit documentation for government and internal audits. Partner with the legal department to monitor and research changes in laws and regulations that impact employee service departments.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or additional equivalent work experience
  • US based: SHRM-CP or PHR preferred

Willingness to travel domestically as needed: Less than 10%
