Job Title: Regional Broker Distribution Leader

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Regional Broker Distribution Leader to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our client and distribution function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our broker partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the UK business and its client and broker functions.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal leaders, clients, brokers, claim handlers, underwriters, and legal counsel.
  • Support the market strategy for the UK Business, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Work with underwriters to retain and grow their books of business while maintaining the highest levels of account service.
  • Ensure our broker partners deliver on the agreed services within line of business facilities as well as the UK and global agreements in place.
  • Strengthen the quality and depth of relationship with AXA XL brokers and develop a pipeline of opportunities for AXA XL underwriting units.
  • Champion X-sell and deliver One AXA, maximizing opportunities with the broader AXA Group businesses to provide overall client solutions and revenue synergies to the business.
  • Monitor and report on BDLs' performance for all of the above.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales and marketing skills, including presentation, development, communication, and negotiation.
  • Global insurance market knowledge, with significant experience of underwriting and insurance operations, broking, or equivalent.
  • Technical expertise, including good insurance background with knowledge of risk managed programs and understanding of global program structures and financial and operational efficiency.
  • Influencer and collaborator, with excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Results-oriented, with ability to approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs, think quickly, and prioritize multiple work streams without sacrificing quality.
  • Continuous improvement focused, with willingness to ask questions, explore new ideas, and learn and improve technical skills and capabilities.
