At STRIDE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT LTD, we're seeking a skilled Regional Development Underwriter to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in driving profitable growth in the Construction insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers to secure new business and grow existing accounts.
- Underwrite a range of Construction-related risks with a focus on Contractors All Risk, Contractors Plant, and associated liabilities.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure regional targets and business objectives are met.
- Identify opportunities for growth within your region, working proactively with brokers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Proven experience in underwriting Construction risks, Contractors All Risk, or related sectors.
- Strong broker relationships and market knowledge within your region.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a proactive and commercial approach.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Competitive salary of £45,000 - £70,000, based on experience and regional broker connections.
- Performance-related bonus of 25% - 40% of base salary.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including a strong pension scheme and family private medical cover.
