We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Palliative Care CNS to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS. As a Palliative Care CNS, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families in an acute hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide symptom management and psychological and social support to patients and their families in the acute hospital environment.
- Deliver education to healthcare professionals, patients, and their families on palliative care.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver palliative care services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of palliative care policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Professional UK registration in NMC.
- Evidence of working with palliative care patients and acute hospital experience.
- Additional post-registration learning in palliative care is desirable.
- Access to clinical expertise and oversight to enable optimal patient care.
