About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Palliative Care CNS to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS. As a Palliative Care CNS, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families in an acute hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide symptom management and psychological and social support to patients and their families in the acute hospital environment.
  • Deliver education to healthcare professionals, patients, and their families on palliative care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver palliative care services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of palliative care policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Professional UK registration in NMC.
  • Evidence of working with palliative care patients and acute hospital experience.
  • Additional post-registration learning in palliative care is desirable.
