Clinical Specialist

Central Indiana Orthopedics PC is seeking a skilled Primary Clinical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, including appointments, procedures, and referrals.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments by obtaining vital signs, taking medical histories, and administering injections or tests as ordered by physicians.
- Assist physicians with minor surgeries, procedures, and physicals, and apply or remove casts, splints, and dressings as necessary.
- Explain and demonstrate home physical therapy exercises or rehabilitation techniques to patients.
- Maintain and prepare supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization and ordering as needed.
- Perform selected administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, answering patient calls, and compiling technical and statistical data for reports and records.
- Completion of an accredited program in nursing, medical assisting, or athletic training.
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) or Indiana state Licensed Practical Nurse license (LPN).
- Current CPR and Emergency First Aid certifications.
