Inpatient Unit Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an Inpatient Unit Assistant to join our team at St Elizabeth Hospice. This role involves supporting the ward team at various times across the weekend, including Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also be responsible for answering calls on the IPU, passing them on to relevant staff, or taking messages and ensuring they are forwarded promptly.
- Liaising with external organizations, such as hospitals and GP surgeries, will also be a key aspect of this role.
As an Inpatient Unit Assistant, you can expect to work approximately 13-17 hours per shift, depending on the time of day. To ensure your success, you will receive thorough training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
