Inpatient Unit Assistant

St Elizabeth Hospice is seeking motivated individuals to fill the position of Inpatient Unit Administrative Support Volunteer. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our Inpatient Unit by providing administrative assistance and supporting our nursing staff.
You will be responsible for handling phone calls, responding to queries, and completing administrative tasks. Your liaison work with external organizations, such as hospitals and funeral directors, will also be crucial in ensuring seamless patient care. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
In exchange for your dedication, we offer an attractive hourly rate of £13.25, including reimbursement for mileage and expenses. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this fulfilling role.
