About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organised individual to provide comprehensive support to our senior nursing teams and operations team in the Child Health department.

As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality business support service, including typing/word processing of letters, minutes, reports, and other routine correspondence.

Main Responsibilities
  1. To provide an effective and efficient administrative service to the Children's Matron, Children's ward, and Neonatal Unit senior nursing teams and operations team.
  2. Provide a comprehensive business support service for the Child Health management team, including proactive forward planning, fielding emails, managing calendars, meeting management, and minute taking.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with previous experience as a medical secretary or administrator, GCSE or equivalent in English, and knowledge of Medical Terminology and Secretarial practices.

You will have excellent communication skills, be highly organised, practical, reliable, and efficient, with a flexible approach to the role.

The salary for this position is approximately £27,000 per annum, pro rata.
