Suffolk County Council is seeking an experienced Children in Need Social Worker to join their team. This role involves working with children, families, and communities to provide support and protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting: Write reports as required by the job
  • Working With PLO (Public Law Outline): Collaborate with Public Law Outline teams
  • Child Protection Meetings and Reviews: Attend child protection meetings, case conferences, and LAC reviews
  • Clients: Utilize Children In Need plans to work directly with children
  • Court Reports: Prepare court reports as needed
  • Section 47's: Conduct Section 47 investigations
  • Core Assessments: Manage core assessments
  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of clients
Requirements:
  • Post Qualifying Experience: Post qualifying experience of working as a Children in Need Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry
  • HCPC Registration: Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Experience: 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • DBS Check: Enhanced DBS/CRB check (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility: Eligibility to work in the UK

The estimated salary for this role is £27,500 per annum, depending on experience.
