We are a team with a specialism in Immigration matters, dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals. Our mission is to help those affected by adversity and trauma overcome their challenges.

About the Role
  • This role involves being case responsible for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) from point of entry into Suffolk until their transition into adulthood as a care leaver.
  • You will support UASC through their Asylum process alongside adhering to statutory duties regarding their health, education, and housing.
Key Requirements
  • A social work qualification.
  • Social Work England Registration.
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to listening to teenagers around challenging topics such as family loss, mental health difficulties, substance misuse, and criminality.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding concerns and specific risks associated with UASC.
  • Good organisation skills and competency with computer systems.
Benefits

£36,124 - £39,513 per annum (pro rata)

Plus retention payment of up to £4,000 per year (pro rata)

28.5 hours per week, Flexible working options available

Paid permanent position

£36,124 - £39,513 per annum (pro rata) + £4,000 retention payment per year (pro rata). Salary is paid on a pro-rata basis, reflecting your part-time schedule.
