Clinical Care Assistant - Ipswich Hospital

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Care Assistant to join our team at Ipswich Hospital's Surgical Assessment Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional support to medical and nursing staff in managing patient flow and delivering high-quality care.
  • Assist registered nurses in patient care, including basic life support skills and awareness of differences in HCA roles in CCU.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Cardiac Arrest Team and respond to emergency situations.

This role demands flexibility, with varied shifts, including weekends and nights, with overnight responsibility to the site matron.

We offer an attractive salary package, including £25,783 per annum, plus unsocial hours payments (where applicable), 27 days annual leave on commencement (pro rata), and access to NHS discounts.
