About the Role

This is a 10 PA post (7.5 DCC, 2.5 SPA) for a newly created position in the Stroke Service. We require someone trained in all aspects of stroke medicine, as well as experience in managing general medicine patients.

The Stroke Unit operates under strict audit and quality standards, consistently achieving high ratings on the SSNAP audit. Our team provides 24/7 thrombolysis and comprehensive rehabilitation services, including an early supported discharge team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality patient care as part of the Stroke Service team.
  • To contribute to departmental audit and research initiatives.
  • To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
  • To work closely with the clinical lead and other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
