Job Title: Stroke Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Stroke Recovery Centre at Williton Community Hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative nurse or Nursing Associate with a passion for stroke care to work in a specialist stroke rehabilitation environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team to support patients and their families/carers.

About the Role

The role involves supporting the ward leaders in the daily running of the ward, acting as a shift coordinator as required, supervising colleagues, and promoting a safe environment within the unit.

You will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, from admission through to discharge, using a computerised record keeping system.

Person Specification
  • Registered Staff Nurse
  • Appropriately registered with the NMC as per post requirements
  • Teaching / Assessor qualification
Benefits

We offer flexible working on internal shift rotation, working both days and nights over a seven-day period, including bank holidays. We also provide training opportunities and preceptorships for newly qualified nurses.

An estimated salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per year reflects the level of experience and skills required for this role.
