About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Clinical and Leadership Fellow at University College London Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the UK's leading stroke services and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

As a Clinical and Leadership Fellow, you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in stroke care, work closely with experienced clinicians, and participate in various governance and teaching programs.

Main Duties:

  • Clinical rotations in core and specialist stroke roles, including hyperacute and acute stroke units, general and specialist stroke clinics, and the 24/7 mechanical thrombectomy service.
  • Delivery of comprehensive care at all stages of stroke management, from pre-hospital to post-hospital, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as cardiology, neurosurgery, and haematology for integrated stroke care.
  • Participation in clinical governance activities like audits, case reviews, and quality improvement projects to enhance stroke care services.

Person Specification:

  • Essential Criteria: Completion of CMT training or equivalent, MRCP or equivalent, experience in Neurology/Stroke and keen interest in pursuing career in Neurology/Stroke, GMC registration, knowledge of confidentiality, data protection, Good Clinical Practice and GDPR.
  • Desirable Criteria: Experience working in the NHS, understanding of research methodology.
