Care Excellence Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Care Excellence Manager to join our Acute Stroke Unit team at Charing Cross Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to lead and support a team of nurses and HCAs in delivering exceptional patient care.
Job SummaryThis role involves leading the nursing team to achieve high-quality patient outcomes, providing on-going training and development opportunities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a member of the ward leadership team, you will contribute to strategic decision-making and play a key role in shaping the future of our service.
About the Role- Lead, develop, and evaluate patient care plans with minimal supervision
- Support and grow a team of nurses and HCAs to deliver excellent patient care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and implement evidence-based practices
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
- Assess and address patient needs, implementing solutions that promote optimal health outcomes
- Collaborate with senior nursing leaders to shape clinical policy and practice
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by trust policies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse
- Experience working in a senior nursing role, preferably in a stroke unit setting
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
