Job Description for Corporate Affairs Officer

As part of National Nuclear Laboratory's (NNL) future, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Affairs Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with external, international, and government stakeholders, driving positive sentiment and contributing to our outreach strategy.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Corporate Affairs and Communications team, working closely with colleagues from across NNL to design and deliver agile plans for stakeholder engagement. This role requires a talent for clear communication, with an emphasis on tailoring messages to specific stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing stakeholder engagement strategies and managing engagement channels and roadmaps
  • Working closely with the Communications Team to source content and deliver NNL's engagement strategy
  • Supporting the delivery of NNL's Outreach Strategy with the wider communications and HR team
  • Overseeing corporate affairs planning activity, including management of daily and weekly planners
  • Event management and organisation
