About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Affairs Officer to join our team at the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL). As a key member of our Corporate Affairs team, you will play a critical role in engaging with external stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, and industry partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies to promote NNL's interests and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and media representatives.
  • Coordinate events, conferences, and other activities to promote NNL's work and engage with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective communication plans to ensure that NNL's message is conveyed to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure that all stakeholder engagement activities are aligned with NNL's overall communications strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the nuclear industry and its stakeholders, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
