Job Title: Corporate Governance and Performance Officer

Join National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) as a Corporate Governance and Performance Officer and be part of a team that is shaping the future of the nuclear sector.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Governance and Performance Officer to join our Corporate Affairs team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for engaging with external stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, and industry partners.

You will work closely with our Communications Team to develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, manage our engagement channels and roadmap, and support the sourcing of content to deliver NNL's engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to support NNL's outreach goals.
  • Manage our engagement channels and roadmap to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Work with the Communications Team to source and develop content for stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support the delivery of NNL's Outreach Strategy in collaboration with the wider communications and HR team.
  • Oversee corporate affairs planning activity, including management of daily and weekly planners to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Event management and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, and industry partners.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and corporate affairs.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance.
