Financial Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Governance Specialist to join our team of dedicated volunteers. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for maintaining oversight of our finances, providing financial updates, and ensuring the effective management of our bank accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain control of branch finances, working closely with the Branch Accountant and Branch Manager.
- Provide regular financial updates to the Trustee meetings.
- Liaise with branch officers and finance coordinator on financial matters, ensuring the smooth operation of our finances.
- Take a lead role in setting annual financial budgets and planning income and expenditure.
- The opportunity to use your financial skills to make a real difference to the lives of animals in your local area.
- The chance to work with a dedicated team of like-minded individuals who share your passion for animal welfare.
- Induction and trustee training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to excel in your role.
We hold monthly hybrid trustee meetings, which last approximately 2 hours. If you are passionate about animal welfare and have the skills to make a real difference, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
