Security Governance Risk and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Governance Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of security frameworks, policies, and governance processes to protect our cloud-based software.

Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining internal control frameworks, guiding the evolution of control mechanisms, and ensuring a suitable security posture. You will also be responsible for conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving major change initiatives to design and implement control mechanisms, security initiatives, and governance processes.
  • Developing, managing, and reviewing risk and security metrics, governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Reviewing processes to ensure they add value and contribute to mitigating risks.
  • Maintaining ISO27001 compliance and delivering improvements.
  • Supporting internal teams with GDPR compliance and improvements.
  • Defining internal policies and procedures and working with internal teams to implement.

Required skills include previous experience in reviewing risk, security, and governance frameworks, comfortable building relationships with stakeholders, and ideally experience with Microsoft Azure or similar.
