About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned Pre-Construction Business Development Director to join our team at VINCI Building UK. In this role, you will develop and execute pre-construction business development strategies to drive revenue growth and deliver successful projects.

As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will contribute to regional-level strategy and performance while overseeing pre-construction activities from early engagement to full contract award. Your expertise will ensure the successful delivery of projects worth £15m to £100m+, spanning various sectors, including Healthcare, Public Sector, Higher Education, Leisure, Commercial, and Residential.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, combined with strong analytical and commercial management experience. You will lead a team of bid managers and writers, guiding their career progression while ensuring the delivery of high-quality bid documents and submissions.

Your experience in preparing and developing bid-winning strategies, combined with your ability to influence stakeholders, will be essential in securing new business opportunities for VINCI Building UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pre-construction business development strategies to drive revenue growth and deliver successful projects.
  • Lead the bid team through the process of compliance with internal tender gateway approvals.
  • Co-ordinate negotiations and commercial discussions through all stages of the process.
