Youth Care Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled Youth Care Coordinator to join our team at Vibe Recruit. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people aged 0-18 who require additional support.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Support: Offer emotional and practical assistance to children, promoting confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Care Planning: Assist in developing and implementing personalized care plans that cater to each child's unique needs.
- Advocacy: Act as an advocate for children to ensure their voices are heard and rights are protected.
- Collaboration: Work closely with families, schools, social workers, and other professionals to provide coordinated care.
- Activities and Engagement: Organize activities that promote socialization, learning, and fun in a safe environment.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond promptly to crises, helping to stabilize situations and develop coping strategies.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a support, care, or educational setting is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare, social care, or a related field are desirable but not essential; we value experience and a passion for helping others.
- A genuine commitment to improving the lives of children and an understanding of the challenges they may face.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required by the needs of the children.
- A valid driver's license is essential, as the role may involve travel within Carmarthenshire.
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
