Job Description
">This role involves working closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide tailored support that meets each child's unique needs. As a Support Professional for Children and Families, you will play a vital part in helping children and young people aged 0-18 who may be experiencing challenges such as emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties.

- Provide direct support: Offer emotional and practical support to children, helping them to build confidence, resilience, and independence.">
- Care planning: Assist in developing and implementing personalized care plans, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.">
- Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of children to ensure their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.">
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with families, schools, social workers, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care.">
- Activities and engagement: Organize and participate in activities that promote socialization, learning, and fun in a safe environment.">
- Crisis intervention: Provide immediate support during crises, helping to stabilize situations and develop coping strategies.">
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, care plans, and progress reports.">
Required Skills and Qualifications
">We are looking for an experienced candidate who has a genuine commitment to improving the lives of children and an understanding of the challenges they may face. The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience working with children or young people in a support, care, or educational setting.">
- Relevant qualifications in childcare, social care, or a related field (desirable but not essential).">
- A valid driver's license, as the role may involve travel within Carmarthenshire.">
