As a Learning Disability Support Worker , you must:
Be over the age of 18 to apply
Have the right to work in the UK.
Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sp0ns0rship.
Have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, unless you are local to the area
Have 6 months prior experience in a UK healthcare setting
Have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector
The duties of a Learning Disability Support Worker include assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication management, promoting independence and a sense of well-being among students.
