We are looking for a highly experienced Clinical Team Lead CAMHS Psychiatrist to join our team at the NHS North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert medical leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and excellent leadership skills. They will work closely with the team leader and peers to develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient outcomes and service delivery.

This is a full-time, substantive post with a salary of £85,000 - £105,000 per annum. You will also receive a 3% Category A on-call supplement for participating in the on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  2. Work directly with young people and their families
  3. Liaise with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals
  4. Participate in the on-call rota
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
