About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Expert to join our team at Psicon Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist mental health services to children and young people with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assessment, treatment, and formulation of complex presentations, including dual diagnosis. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The salary for this role is approximately £58,000-£68,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including enhanced annual leave, flexible working hours, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide specialist mental health services to children and young people with complex needs.
  • To develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs and circumstances of each client.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective outcomes.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to relevant legislation and professional standards.
Requirements
  • A doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Extensive experience in assessment, treatment, and formulation of complex presentations, including dual diagnosis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
