Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Doctor

This is a great opportunity for a Senior CAMHS Mental Health Specialist to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people in Canterbury. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to those who need it most.
The role involves working as part of a team to provide care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Canterbury. You will also provide senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases. In addition, you will be responsible for guiding and supervising junior colleagues and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry, with a minimum of 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis). The ideal candidate will have mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders.
