About the Role

Meliá London Kensington is seeking a skilled Reception Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the reception team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the hotel management team to implement new procedures and policies, ensuring that they are communicated effectively to all staff.
  • Monitor and maintain the hotel's credit procedure, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and concierge, to ensure that all guest requests are met.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Fluency in English, with Spanish knowledge desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Opera system, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
