About the Role:

The Nuclear Fuel Logistics Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the global logistics nuclear fuel business development strategy and process. This role will involve managing relationships with key suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external customers to ensure the successful execution of nuclear fuel transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the global logistics nuclear fuel business development strategy and process.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external customers.
  • Lead the global logistics nuclear fuel project management program from inception to operational execution.
  • Coordinate with nuclear fuel transport representatives at fabrication sites and business project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Prepare and communicate key project milestone updates and risks to stakeholders.
  • Provide direction and strategic guidance to category leads and nuclear fuel transport project managers.
  • Manage nuclear fuel logistics project management workload, resource allocation, and obstacles to progress.
  • Interface directly with Westinghouse external customers to support business unit leaders.
  • Provide LOA input for nuclear logistics scope, costs, supplier options, packaging options, and load and logistics plans.
  • Create packaging and transport scope language for nuclear fuel sales contracts.
  • Review the nuclear fuel business plan to identify projects requiring transportation, packaging, and regulatory services.
  • Manage risk assessment across nuclear fuel transport projects.
  • Advise category leads on global sourcing and supplier management aspects of nuclear fuel transport activities.
  • Advise category leads on creating supplier contracts and agreements for nuclear fuel packaging and transport projects.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, or similar discipline.
  • 3 years of procurement or global transport experience.
  • Strong negotiating, benchmarking, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and project procurement management skills.
  • Experience with vendor management, including supplier contract administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from quantitative data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and engage at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to amicably and professionally resolve disputes with suppliers.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team environment.
  • Must be creative and have strong problem-solving skills, along with time-management, prioritizing, planning, and self-direction skills.
  • Ability to maintain long-term productive relationships with suppliers.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage data and workflows in a database environment.
  • Ability to travel 10%.
