Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is working with a leading Main Contractor to recruit a Design Manager to join their team based in St Albans. The successful candidate will have experience working on a diverse range of schemes, including residential, education, retail, and healthcare.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage two to three projects varying in value from £6 million to £15 million. They will also have experience working for a main contractor for 4+ years and be able to interface with all disciplines within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design process from pre-construction to detailed design stages.
- Procure and agree scopes for design sub-consultants.
- Coordinate the design from all aspects.
- Control design costs and measure design within tender budgets.
- Use Microsoft Office suite, Asta programming, and CAD, True View, Revit, or BIM.
