Job Summary

This role involves providing logistics information and advice on legislation and operational issues to our members. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to member enquiries, researching and analyzing legislation, and developing presentations to communicate complex information to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to member enquiries on road transport compliance and operation, demonstrating initiative and ownership of queries.
  • Manage continuous professional development to sustain up-to-date knowledge of road transport law, safety, and operational matters.
  • Lead on editing and production of Logistics UK publications and articles, as well as producing presentations and other compliance information material.
  • Identify improvements to develop the quality of team outputs, ensuring Logistics UK remains a leader in the provision of compliance advice.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of road transport legal issues, holding a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work closely and constructively with other team members.
  • An analytical approach to researching information, with the ability to research, understand, and analyze legislation and information.
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks, with a clear writing style and the ability to demystify legal requirements.
