Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Information Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Member Advice Centre (MAC), you will provide expert advice and guidance on road transport compliance and operation to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to member enquiries on road transport compliance and operation, demonstrating a high level of expertise and knowledge.
  • Manage and maintain up-to-date knowledge of road transport law, safety, and operational matters, ensuring you are always at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Lead on the creation and dissemination of compliance information to members, including the development of publications, articles, and presentations.
  • Initiate and manage external discussions on compliance advice subjects, building strong relationships with stakeholders and industry experts.
  • Support the management and maintenance of MAC files and other information sources, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of road transport legal issues, holding a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • An analytical approach to researching information, with the ability to understand and analyze legislation and information.
  • Strong keyboard skills and the ability to manage email and calendar effectively.
  • Able to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including members, government agencies, and industry experts.
