About the Role
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join its Emergency Operations Centre team as an Ambulance Dispatcher. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for the effective deployment and management of Trust vehicles to emergency and non-emergency calls across the Trust area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Trust vehicles to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Provide effective communication with patients and other stakeholders
- Work collaboratively as part of a 999 control room team
Requirements
- 4 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English (or equivalent)
- Good keyboard skills
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
